The METEX 4.251 is an active metal detector for targets at depths up to 3.3 m. Its large flexible search coil allows the detection of all conductive metal types regardless if you search in soil or shallow water. Due to its larger power output the main purpose of the METEX 4.251 is to locate objects that cannot be detected by conventional mine detectors due to their larger depth. Because of the special design the flexible METEX 4.251 coil is superior to other loops with larger diameters. It offers a demountable design for easy transport in difficult environment.
