The ST3000 is a new concept in digital multichannel ultrasound system for laboratory test and on-line inspections. The system is managed by an outside personal computer inr eal time, though a serial line for the controls, a GPIB bus for the data and a program based on WINDOWS and LABView. The PC screen provides the machine-operator interface with a virtual keyboard arranged around the A-scan window.
