Quality Assurance with Energy-dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis (EDXRF Analysis)

Energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis (EDXRF analysis) is a particularly universal, fast and nondestructive measuring method. By using suitable reference materials, it enables coating thicknesses and material composition for a large number of applications to be determined with a high level of precision and in a traceable way. The wide range of industrial applications and the short cycle of product innovation place special challenges on measuring technology and on the availability of calibration standards that are suitable for EDXRF analysis.
